Vu Ngoc Trung has been working as a microbiologist in the field of TB in the Department of Microbiology and National TB Reference Laboratory, National Lung Hospital since 2019, after receiving a degree in Medical Doctor from Hanoi Medical University. Since 2021, he has been the team leader in the Drug Susceptibility section and Culture for MTB section. He has also participated in research for both clinical trials and laboratory-base and joined a state-level research topic on Whole Genome Sequencing for MTB. He is interested in exploring the relationship between phenotype and genotype of MTB to explain and give useful advice for clinical applications.
