Elizabeth Nakabugo holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in project planning and management from Uganda Management Institute. Elizabeth has been involved in the implementation of HIV/Tuberculosis projects since 2017 under the Infectious Diseases Institute of the College of Health Sciences, Makerere University as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control officer overseeing both Clinical and Laboratory activities for the BDMAX and GeneXpert Ultra studies. She also served as the project coordinator and QA/QC officer for the FujiLAM prospective evaluation. Elizabeth currently coordinates the FEND-TB (Adult) protocol at Makerere University, College of Health Sciences.
